What is included

  • Full instructions

Learning goals

  • Develop automatic recall of all times tables facts, including the trickier ones!
  • Build confidence in mathematical skills

Suggested use

The game has 3 sets of 12 cards that you can laminate and hand out to the students in your class. The students must then work out the answer to the times tables question on their card, then walk around quietly asking the other students what answer they have until they find the one with the answer they need. Each of the sets make a complete circle of 12 students, with each having the answer to the question of the child next to them. If you have fewer than 12 they can simply make a line instead of a circle. When they are finished, simply mix the cards up and start again! This maths multiplication game is very effective at improving student’s recall of times tables facts, and has been designed to use the facts students commonly struggle with, especially squares and 6, 7, 8 and 12 times tables.
